The muscovite mica tape is used for the construction of fireproof cables and is made by gluing muscovite mica paper with very flexible support materials and easy to wrap on tight conductors. Calcined mica has been heat-treated to remove impurities and is also suitable for use as a heat-resistant barrier for fireproof cables and high-temperature insulation applications.
