Mica Tape Conductor Isolation
This mica tape is used for the insulation of copper conductors for high-voltage motors and generators. It has an excellent flexibility that gives a good adhesion to the copper conductor. We have two types: the VPI type uses a small amount of adhesive resin and has excellent impregnation properties; The Resin Rich type is a prepreg mica tape impregnated with epoxy resin. When subjected to heat and pressure, the resin flows and hardens the forming the strong insulating layer without the need for vacuum impregnation. One side or both sides of the tape can be coated with Hot Melt cme resins requested by our customers. Sr854T has excellent cut resistance.
