NOMEX

Chemically, NOMEX® paper is an aromatic polyamide and is generally known as aramid. It is also widely used for OPGW (Optical Ground Wire) fiber protection and conductor insulation for high-voltage motors and generators. Paper is a unique DuPont product with UL classification for high temperatures and used in the manufacture of motors, transformers and other electrical appliances with excellent mechanical and electrical properties.
